Privacy Policy

SelectNSort is a photo-selection product for photographers. You upload event photos, organise them into folders, and send a gallery to the people who need to pick their pictures.

This policy covers selectnsort.in and the photographer and client accounts on it. It is written for how the product actually works today — not for a generic software company.

If you only open a gallery as a client, most of this still applies, but the photographer who invited you is the one who put your name and number into the system.

We collect what you (or the photographer who invited you) type into SelectNSort, plus a small amount of technical data needed to keep the site running.

Account information

For photographers: full name, studio or business name, email address, and WhatsApp number. We also store sign-in details such as one-time passwords, login sessions, and the plan attached to the account.

Client information

Photographers add clients so they can send a gallery. That usually includes the client’s name and mobile number, and a login code for the gallery. We do not go looking for extra client data outside what the photographer entered.

Photos and event content

Event names, folders, uploaded photos, and the selections or favourites a client marks in a gallery. The pictures themselves sit in our cloud storage. We do not treat them as marketing material.

Technical information

Basic logs: IP address, browser, device, pages requested, and error traces when something breaks. We use this to fix outages and abuse, not to build advertising profiles.

We use the information above to:

• create and run photographer and client accounts
• store events, folders and photos, and show the right gallery to the right person
• send WhatsApp, SMS or email messages that the product already sends — OTPs, login codes, album notices
• take payment for Premium and keep the subscription in sync
• answer support mail
• protect the service from spam, stolen logins and overloaded uploads

We do not sell your contact list. We do not rent your clients’ numbers to anyone.

Photos you upload stay yours. SelectNSort holds them so clients can view and select them. We do not put them on our social channels, and we do not feed them into public AI training sets.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload — including pictures of people at a wedding, a birthday or a school event.

A gallery is only as private as the way you share it. If you send a client login code or a shared link, anyone who has that code or link can open the album until it expires or you shut it down.

Treat those messages like a key. Do not post a live gallery link on a public page if you do not want strangers in the album.

SelectNSort uses WhatsApp, SMS and email for things like photographer OTPs, client login codes, and “your album is ready” notes. Those messages go through the messaging companies we already use to deliver them.

If you give us a WhatsApp number at sign-up, that is the number we will use for account messages. Change it in the product if it is no longer yours.

Premium is billed through Razorpay. Card and UPI details are entered on Razorpay’s checkout, not on a SelectNSort form we store. We keep what we need to recognise the payment: plan, amount, status, and Razorpay references.

Refunds and failed charges are handled against that payment record. Write to us if a charge looks wrong.

SelectNSort uses essential cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and provide core functionality. These technologies are necessary for the service to work properly.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell information for advertising purposes.

We share data only when the product needs it:

• cloud hosting and file storage, so photos and the app can load
• Razorpay, for checkout
• WhatsApp, SMS and email providers, to send the messages above
• the law, if we are required to

A photographer’s clients see the gallery that photographer opened for them. That is the point of the product, not a “sale” of data.

Accounts are behind sign-in. Traffic to the app is encrypted in transit. Photos sit in restricted cloud storage rather than on a public folder listing.

No hosted gallery is unbreakable. If you think an account was used without permission, mail us and change how that gallery is shared.

We keep account, event and photo data while the account is open and the files are still in the product. If you delete an event or a client in SelectNSort, we remove that record from the live app. Backup copies can lag for a short time.

Closed accounts are removed after we finish any billing or abuse checks that are still open.

Photographers can delete events (and the folders and photos under them) and can remove clients from the dashboard. That is the fastest way to take a gallery down.

To close the photographer account itself, write to support@selectnsort.in from the email on the account. Tell us you want the account deleted, not just a password reset.

You can ask what we hold on your photographer account, ask us to correct a name or number, or ask us to delete the account. Clients should start with the photographer who created the gallery; we can help if that photographer is unreachable.

Send the request to support@selectnsort.in. We may need to confirm it is you before we change or remove data.

SelectNSort accounts are for photographers running a business, not for children. Do not create a photographer account if you are under 18.

Event galleries often include photos of children. Those pictures are uploaded by the photographer. The photographer must have permission from the parent or guardian to collect and share them.

The product sits on cloud infrastructure. Payments go through Razorpay. OTPs and album messages go through WhatsApp, SMS and email vendors. Each of those companies has its own privacy terms for the slice of data they receive.

Links to other websites from SelectNSort are not covered by this page.

SelectNSort is used from India. Some hosting and message providers keep copies on servers in other countries. If that happens, it is only to run the same product — storing files, sending an OTP, taking a payment — not to build a separate overseas database of your clients.

When the product changes in a way that affects this page, we will update the text and the date at the top. The current version is always the one on this URL.
